Life so far :)

Update: We have now been here over 11 years 😂 We have gone through some big changes in life, children left home, got married gave us grandchildren (5 to date) we have lost parents, pets and our sanity at times! We contemplated moving a few times but actually we love what we do and how we live though it gets harder as we get older. John is semi retired which makes life easier here for me as he can now take on a bigger chunk of the day to day work.

We increased the vegetable garden massively and now grow a huge range of fruit and veg as well as having many nut trees, pretty self sufficient for most of the year as far as that goes. We started off raising our own meat but eat a lot less of it these days and so buy from other smallholders instead.m
